B-Safe Drink Spike Detection
B-SAFE is an electrochemical sensor for the detection of more than thirty unwanted substances in beverages and cocktails.
Drugs Detected: Sodium oxybate (GHB), Benzodiazepines (diazepam, oxazepam, lorazepam, prazepam, flunitrazepam, Lormétazepam, chlorazépate, midazolam, clonazepam, alprazolam, bromazepam, loprazolam, etizolam, metizolam, bromazolam, bentazepam, Clonazolam, desalkylflurazepam, deschloroetizolam, declazepam, flubromazepam, flucotizolam, fluetizolam, flunitrazolam, zopiclone).
Neuroleptic family (Alimemazine, cyamemazine, levomepromazine, promethazine, chlorpromazine, oxomemazine), other Anti-histaminic medicine (Tylenol Extra Night, Theraflu, Neocitran, dimenhydrinate Gravol et Dramamine).
Synthetic drugs (ecstasy, speed, TAZ…), antipsychotic medicine ( Loxapine, Quetiapine), Diuretic medicine (furosemide).
Opioid medicine based on codeine, opium and paracetamol (Tylenol No1, 2, 3, 4, Empracet, 292 , 282, Calmylin with codeine, Percocet, Vicodin, Norco, Tramacet, Ultracet, Darvocet, Talacen).
Combine this tool with a Think Twice Drink Test Strip to detect “amine” based drugs like Ketamine, Scopolamine, and cocaine.

Instructions
Press the start button. Green indicator light flashes 1x for standard mode or 2x for aniseed (licorice) mode. Fully immerse the head of the B-Safe device into the drink. Wait until solid green light or flashing red light.
Before testing another drink rinse with water and gently shake the B-Safe device to remove liquid behind the sensor protection grid.
Best Practices
Mix the suspected drink thoroughly before testing.
Do not touch the sensors directly with a brush or cleaning tool.
After testing an aniseed (licorice) drink soak the B-Safe device in soapy water for 3 minutes, then rinse for 30 seconds.
If the B-Safe device detects a drug, carefully clean the device with soapy water and rinse, then check a clean drink (not water) to confirm a green light appears. Repeat cleaning process if needed.
Do not wash in dishwasher or use strong cleaning detergents.

Water, Coca-Cola, White Wine, Apple Juice, Crazy Tiger, Schweppes, IPA Beer, Ginger Beer, Pineapple Juice, Whisky & Coke, Red Bull, Oasis, Orange Juice, Vodka &, Orange Juice, Vodka & Red Bull, Vodka & Schweppes, Dark Beer, Sparkling Water, Cranberry Juice, Rosé Wine, Get 27, Gin & Schweppes, Rum & Coke, White Lady Cocktail, Margarita Cocktail, Blonde Beer, Red Wine, Water, and Champagne.
Results
GHB = 100% (works in all beverages tested)
Valium (Diazepam) = 95% (does not work in water).
Lysanxia (Prazepam) = 92% (does not work in water).
Rivotril (Clonazepam) = 92% (does not work in water).
Ecstasy (MDMA + Speed) = 100% (works in all beverages tested)
Codeine, oxazepam, alprazolam, midazolam, and loprazolam were tested in six different
beverages (Whisky & Coke, Vodka Red Bull, Rosé Wine, Beer, Orange Juice, and a Mojito
Cocktail), and the reliability rates were identical.
