Cannabix Marijuana Breath Test (MBT) utilizes a handheld Breath Collection Unit (BCU) to capture the breath sample into a Cannabix Breath Cartridge (BC) that can be shipped for analysis. The Cannabix Breath Collection Unit (“BCU”) is designed to collect breath samples for the detection of recent marijuana use, with analytical confirmation performed via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) at an accredited laboratory.

Cannabix Breath Cartridge (BC)

Designed specifically for capturing low-volatile samples, such as cannabinoids, the innovative housing and advanced filter design maximize capture efficiency. The BC features two separate collection pods, providing both a primary sample and a confirmatory sample. The BCU can collect an ambient air sample to prevent any airborne background cannabis to result in a false positive test. After sample collection, BC is sealed and labeled with a unique serial number and barcode for easy identification. It is tamper-proof, and can be easily stored for later analysis.

• Each BCU has a unique serial number that can be used to trace the service history and QA documentation.
• The final assembly, inspection, and packaging of the BCUs are performed within an ISO 13485-certified facility.
• The BCU battery and charger (including the charging cable) are FCC certified for electromagnetic compatibility.
